The landlord of the Krone, Andreas Messerschmidt, and his team create regional specialities of the traditional Baden cuisine. Boasting pork, beef, veal, poultry and lamb dishes, the menu also includes vegetarian options as well as fish, fresh asparagus or Schlachtplatte, according to season.
The Winzersekte (quality sparkling wine) and wines from the Kaiserstuhl on offer are sourced from the cellars of the local wine growers’ cooperative and vineyards. These sophisticated products are ideally suited to accompany meals and are also perfect to enjoy on their own.
